Nice place for a short stop on the north of the island.
Walk up the observatory to the top and get a wonderful of the whole area. You can get some great pictures.
There’s a nice little playground if you have kids. And when I was there, there was a food truck that looked like it had decent food (hamburgers etc).
Best of all, it also has a decent toilet.
This was a nice stop with clean bathrooms, lots of parking, and picnic tables. The view of the st. Laurence from the observation tower was great, but the messaging on the placards was very colonial. I do not know who approved it, but it needs to be reviewed and updated. All in all, this should be a stop for those exploring the island.

🏴 Flag as inappropriateGreat tower, I'm not an architect by trade, however I can tell you that it's probably not going anywhere, not soon anyway. Looks like they used the Canadian equivalent of structural engineering to provide adequate rigidity to the outside supports, and sufficient supports on the states. 10/10 recommend.
🏴 Flag as inappropriateWith three levels, there is something for every stamina and excitement need. The best views are at the top. There is a pay-per-view monocular at the top. The tower sways a bit but don't let that bother you: the tower won't tip. You get a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence and it's free! What more could you ask for?
