Stylist is very knowledgeable in Korean style hair and the specific ways to cut and style. Also provides perming services for a reasonable price. Will also make sure to confirm the desired length and cut with you. Tiny bit of a language barrier, but should not be an issue if you are clear with your communication.

Extremely satisfied with how my hair turned out. I don't usually leave reviews because I'm busy and my time is valuable, but I'm so happy with my hair! Stylist is friendly and professional. I loved that she explained each step of the haircut and asked for my opinion. I've been to 5+ different asian hair places in Winnipeg and this is hands down the best haircut I've ever had. She was a successful designer at a famous hair salon franchise in Seoul and you can tell right away that she has fantastic skills. She cut my hair in a way that it enhances my best facial features. Straightening at the root + c-curl perm at the bottom also turned out great. It's been almost a week and I'm still very much happy with it - the only thing I need to do to maintain it is blow dry and it should last for up to six months, it's just so easy. I've had the same procedure done at other places with not as satisfying results. Prices are also reasonable. Only thing to consider is that she's super detail-oriented so she takes her time, which I think is actually a good thing, as it shows that she cares. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new hairstylist.

+ Tip: if you're not Korean I recommend taking a picture of the hair style you want to the appointment, as this will make communicating with the stylist easier.
