(September 11, 2019, 3:37 pm)This is a relatively new trail, finished in 2016. We visited in September. Lots of boardwalk, so very easy hiking. Large diversity of vegetation, especially bog and marsh-type. Unusual plants like orchids, carnivorous and Ojibway medicinal plants in a beautiful setting. There are signs along the way explaining both the plants and what they mean to the Ojibway culture. It was fascinating in September. I plan to go again in early summer and hope to see some orchids blooming!

(July 13, 2019, 7:01 pm)Bring bug spray. Nice walk our and back. Benches here and there. Some parts have lots of shade and some full sun. We came today to see the wild orchids. Please stay on the trail. If not you'll most likely crush flowers. Outhouses were clean.
