  Undoubtedly the best fries in the Red River valley. The burgers are excellent, they use cheese whiz instead of cheddar or processed slices which adds a unique character to the burger. More of a Nip style burger than a Greek style. Most importantly Sonia's is the best burger stand in Lockport, definitely miles ahead of Skinner's . I can't compare to half Moon as I haven't been there in forever.

  The best cheeseburgers! They use cheese whiz and fried onions on their burgers. So good! The fries are amazing too!

  Don't come here looking for a sit down fancy place. You order at the window and share a spot to eat at the picnic tables clustered around. But don't get me wrong, the place has loads of charm. The menu posted on the exterior in not always accurate so don't be disappointed if your first choice isn't served that day. My burger was delicious! I ordered with the 'works' without knowing exactly what that meant. To my delight it had this great flavour of caramelized onions and mustard. Burger was homemade style. My companion had the chicken burger. Just as good. Large piece of white meat, beautifully crisped on a soft bun. Comfort food to the max. Milkshake was average. Watching the traffic was entertaining but loud. I'd go again. The food is definitely worth the trip.
