Decent cross country ski trails maintained by volunteers of Gimli Cross Country Ski Club.

What a beautiful place. So many different spots for gorgeous pictures. Not too far of a drive from Winnipeg, beautiful drive to by the way. So many places to explore in Manitoba and this should be one of them that everyone sees at some point in their life.

I stayed at the campground for one night. Though there isn't much privacy between the sites, it's a unique and interesting place to spend a night. Can't think of another place quite like this in MB, and the grounds are expansive and well-kept. Worth a stop!

We love this place! I almost would have given it 5 stars,...the only thing which is annoying and probably somewhat dangerous are the old metal pipes and concrete slabs at the beach below the old bell tower. I am not talking about the old broken down natural rock walls, they actually fit,...but the pipes and concrete slabs could have been cleaned up a long time ago.

PLUSES: It's easy to get to & having a cabin with plumbing for a reasonable cost is nice. Gimli is close in case you forgot anything. Chopped wood included is a great touch.

MINUSES: The beach is loaded with stones making it tough to walk on or spread out a blanket & do typical beach activities. The cabin bathroom doesn't have a shower which seems like a missed opportunity since there's already plumbing.
