Shady Rest Bed and Breakfast

I cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I stayed for two days to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.

The historic family farm house is beautifully decorated, the accommodations are wonderful (we stayed in the Maple Room), and breakfast is scrumptious, healthy, and filling!

The owners are very personable and considerate. They are available if needed and provide little extras like community boardgames, movies, and snacks. If you are looking to get away and relax, I fully recommend you consider booking a room here.

This quaint little B&B is just outside of Lexington. The rooms are cozy, and very well decorated. The price is reasonable, and the proprietors are friendly and fantastic as well as flexible. My wife and I plan on staying here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We will stay again!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This was a great experience. The rooms are super cute, comfortable and clean. Much thought is given to the decorations and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The 24 hour room is a neat thing. Denise is an awesome cook and the breakfasts were simply stellar. Thank you for a great stay.

Second time visiting this lovely B&B. Couldn't be happier.
The bed is big and oh so comfy. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Like a cloud.
The 24 hour room is stocked with freshly made chocolate chip cookies and snacks. Klondike bars in the freezer. Plus coffees teas and sodas. There front porch has chairs to sit and relax and there is the back deck too. There you can watch birds and butterflies.
The homemade breakfast in the morning is so wonderful. We had fruit and French toast with bacon last time it was blueberry pancakes and sausage. It was amazing and I mean amazing.
Denise and Tarek are wonderful hosts. From the first visit they make you feel at home. I cannot wait to go back.
