I don't know why all state parks don't have a park store because this one is always busy. It's very helpful not to have to leave the park because you need something and this store is well stocked with the basics and a lot of extras. Love the staff and the ice cream is a bonus taste treat.

What a nice place to camp. A camp store with everything you need. Good beech, rocky, but a dandy beech. Great eatery's close by.

I have been a camper for many years. I do like this park. Clean. Quiet. It even has a park store. Check this place out. Electricity, showers, toilets. Name it, they've got it.

Great staff, even better swimming. Brings me back to my childhood summers, when times were simpler and campgrounds were rustic and charming. Nothing like eating leftover Chinese food reheated in the campfire. The Chinese food only gets three stars though, but it’s better when heated with the rice.

Make sure to bring bug spray and marshmallows for s’mores. I also wish I had brought a nice bike to pedal around on - it’s a great place for families and short bike rides to pass the time.
