The day use area has a nice sand beach and plenty of picnic space with barbecue stands and tables. Parking is on the other side of the highway. Tbe beach is accessible by a pedestrian bridge. The beach is sandy and there is a sandbar out a ways, but you have to cross a sizable band of gravel and rocks at the water line to reach it, so water shoes are advised to us tender foots. The water was wonderful, clear and refreshing.

First time I've stopped by the day use area. Wow... very impressed! Beautiful and clean, great beach, even kayak rentals. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Good amount of picnic space, outside the beach. The beach had gravel that really hurts but the whole beach experience will be good as it is Lake Huron. Water goes little deep and then shalloe and many people cross the deep part walking. Fun!

I've been coming to this park for 28 years and it is Paradise, it is like an Escape From the City Life you feel like you are far far away from the chaos. Water is Crystal Clear beaches are Sandy and the beer is always cold( in my cooler) one of the few area beaches where you are still allowed to drink beer and conduct yourself freely without police breathing down your neck
