Great place to relax and watch the freighters. Recent improvements include picnic table both out in the open and in a shelter. People fish there, too.

Very nice view of the river. You can see the flow the river and how fast it moves. There is a covered area with tables. There are tables and benches around for others to sit and share the area. If you need to 'rest', you can. There's no beach with sand, so little ones need to be watched. There's no swimming either. It's a serene place to watch the water.
