    What a treasure!
Tucked away off the road, sits this charming 200+year-old heritage home, containing many artifacts and pieces original to the site. The house, outbuildings and property are so well kept.
The admission building is just off the parking lot, visible from route 11. Small interpretation area, giftshop and washrooms.
Visitors are taken by wagon to the site. In 2018, the driver was very charming and the owner the team of horses.
The farm has a selection of animals, and there is access to the beach.
Summer students offer a tour of the house, which is bright but cool and contains so much history.
    Plan at least 1.5 hours.

It was the last day it would be open but it was ok to see how this Scotsman lived back in the 1800s

Arrival at the farm is by carriage. Beautiful house and beautiful historical reconstruction. Several animals that children can see. Very nice site!
