Bayou Pub and Restaurant

Just ok. Usually a good place to eat, today I had the wings with hot sauce. The wings were small and the sauce was definitely not hot. At $15 for a pound (10 pcs) I was expecting a little more. Even before I was finished I was being given my bill. It felt a little rushed. All in all just every average experience.
The music they played in the background, on the other hand, was very good!

Portion was great, waitress was perfect, friendly and quick, and food was hot and just what you would expect for tavern type fare. But have to mention how delicious and crispy their fries were too. I just found ot on the pricier side for basic tavern food, but it was still tasty and the service more than made up for it

Good portion good food quality everything you would expect in a pub style restaurant. Service was very good.

Our group ate here a couple of nights ago and absolutely loved this place. I ordered the 1/2 Clam, 1/2 Scallop Platter and was definitely happy with this meal. The clam and scallops were deep fried, but was very happy at how well they were done. Normally, clams are too overdone and dried out, this place prepared them perfectly - crispy on the outside but still moist on the inside. Scallops were also done to perfection - easily cut with a fork. The decor may be a bit dated, but the food way more than makes up for it. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area ???.
