Beautiful trails, public washrooms and water fountains which I've never seen hiking before. Def a very family friendly, bring the kids kind of trail for even the most inexperienced hikers.

There is a very good amount of milkweed alongside the trails. We saw many Monarch butterflies, Monarch eggs, and newborn Monarch caterpillars. If you enjoy following the Monarch and its life cycle put this on your list of hotspots.

The Reinstein Woods are a real treasure in the middle of busy suburban neighborhood. Walking through the preserve is like escaping into a calming and serene environment complete with small lakes, ponds, and a multitude of trees. Visited in the fall just as the trees were turning, and did not want to leave. Very glad these woods were set aside by the original owners. As an out of state visitor I envy the local residents who can enjoy this nature preserve any time they wish.

Reinstein Park has become one of my favorites place. I love how everything is reserved and the fact we can actually see wildlife. The quietness and the openness is alluring and an escape from everyday life. I spend hours there every time and always find something different each time I go. I have showed so many people this park and we all love it! I love the long trails and the beautiful lily pads!
