The office was very nice and the staff was both professional and personable. I have been to this office a few times now and have experienced the cleaning techniques of different dental hygienists. I can honestly say they, along with the dentists, were very thorough and attentive to my needs. If you’re in the market for a new dentist in the south towns, this is as fine a choice as any. Two thumbs up.

Hopefully this saves someone some worry and research.

There are two Dr Mitchell’s here, husband and wife, and they are each tremendously talented. Long story short, I had a bum tooth and my former dentist office took months to identify the issue. Months of tooth pain, at this point I knew I needed to find a new dentist. Upon researching (which I highly recommend you doing before someone is literally drilling your face), I chose to travel a bit to Lakeshore Dental.

First impression... beautiful property, directly on the lake. Waiting room and staff is extremely pleasant. The office is clean and bright with comfortable natural light off of the lake. There are plenty of high tech gadgets that were nonexistent at my old dentist. Including a CT machine to look inside your tooth and see what your issues are, not just an xray while you hold a piece of plastic in your mouth(if your dentist keeps saying you’re good, but ignores you saying there is pain based on an X-ray...run or paddle to Lakeshore). Their slogan is “where the only thing we overlook, is the lake”. It’s true.

Dr Mitchell identified EXACTLY what my issue was within 45 seconds, no joke. Right away I was scheduled and treated for the issue, as well as a minor filling. The professionalism of Dr Mitchell was fantastic and everything being done was explained to me in detail and the work itself shows their commitment to excellence. I was listened to genuinely, then was explained, and importantly SHOWN, what had occurred with my tooth.

If you’re reading this and wondering if you should make this your new dentist....the answer is yes.

From check in to check out this place was attentive, friendly and fabulous!

My hygienist was Corrine. I have honestly never had a more thorough cleaning of my teeth ever! She took her time and cleaned my teeth with both equipment and by hand to ensure they were perfect. She was extremely gentle and throughout the cleaning continually asked if I was comfortable.

Dr. Lindsay Mitchell then reviewed my records and performed an exam and referred me to an Oral Surgeon due to a finding.

And if that wasn't enough, the office environment is cozy, very homey and the view from the dental chair is spectacular. This may sound odd but it doesn't have that cold feeling you get in most medical offices. I kinda like that :)
