(July 22, 2019, 3:56 pm)Like most NYS parks it is up to the standards set by the state parks office. We had my mother in law's 70 birthday party. A well cared for Park. The Park is 1,213 areas. And is named for all the chestnut trees on it's hills.

(June 23, 2019, 12:27 pm)Really good spread out wooded park. This place could benefit from some better signs to direct people to shelters and locations. Bathrooms are dated. Seem like they were created 60 years ago with minimal upkeep. Some really good playgrounds as well as old stuff right out of the 80s.
