(May 13, 2019, 7:38 pm)The lake is beautiful... though it was closed on my visit Mother's Day weekend. Felt "stalked " by park security officer that parked 1000 yards away from our campsite (we were the ONLY tent site) and watched us with binoculars. Creepy is an understatement. 5 adults in their 40's with no alcohol, don't need that much of a babysitter. It was uncomfortable.

(April 8, 2019, 4:32 am)Favorite summer spot. You can walk in through the trail and end up a ways down the beach. Or you can drive in and park right near picnic tables and the guarded swimming area. Even in the winter it's a lovely place for a walk.

(February 13, 2019, 7:29 am)My wife and I go every year for 2 weeks we love it there perfect place to go and just be free from the day to day life for a bit we actually had our wedding reception there we love it so much. But why did I give it 3 stars you ask? The bathrooms on the noneletric circle are some of the most disgusting things I have ever seen they could be so nice but there is standing water in the showers dew to the drains being higher then the rest of the floor and mold everywhere in them as well. There is more to cleaning a bathroom the. Sweeping the floor and running a dirty mop over it.
