Veterans' Memorial Park

Nice place to go with. Forends and family for. Free concerts and free parking. Nice wide open area with plenty of room.Bring your chairs and have a fun evening listening to one of the live bands. There are several food and beverage trucks and tents too.

Very nice place to hang out with family. There's a little something for everyone to do. Pavilions are available. Small pond for catch and release fishing. Trail for walking that is paved throughout park and then turns to dirt and stone upon entry into wooded area.(I highly recommend bug spray.)There are signs in the wooded area-kinda confusing but all in all you end up back in the same area. There is a playground for kids with a newly added splash pad area. A building with bathrooms located inside. Plenty of running around space and more. There are also many family friendly activities that go on throughout summer at this location. Don't forget to check out the Veteran Memorial located in the middle of the park too!

All in all it's a well rounded park for all age groups during the warm weather.

Great concert, both bands. Great crowd, people spaced themselves well so there was room to move and not be tripping over each other. When we left there were no empty containers and trash all over the ground. There were plenty of trash cans and recycle containers around and people used them. Nice variety of vendors and charity raffles as well as free give aways. Just a really nice evening at a very comfortable venue with a good group of people.
