Lakeview Motel & Cottage

Wally is a great host. location , accommodations and lake views prefect.

The accommodations we had were great, and Wally's attention to our needs was also excellent, we enjoyed it so much we already started planning for next year.

Wally gave us tips on where to eat and where to go and directions we should take, he even called and booked us in for breakfast at a local place we would never have found if not for him, his humor kept us laughing for hours and we can't wait for our 2020 tour.

Rooms were as clean as could be, amenities were all available to us for cooking making coffee, fridge etc. and plenty of room outside by the lake (30 seconds walk) to have a fire at night and enjoy the stunning scenery over the lake to Toronto.

As a group we could not have been more satisfied with the 2 + 6 beds we had for this trip.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the accommodations and the hospitality provided by Wally and the Lakeview Motel and Cottages. We just got back yesterday from a three day golf trip with eight golfers. Wally not only provided us with exceptional accommodations for the price but also offered advice as to local eateries and watering holes. The property is gorgeous with a breathtaking view of Toronto from the water's edge 30 second walk from the doorstep. If that weren't enough, Wally also introduced us to his neighbors! We will come back next year and the year after, and the year after, and the year after...

Had a great stay. Cottage was larger than it looked in the photos online, was clean and well-stocked with supplies. Chris and Wally were very accommodating and Wally was a hoot. After my friend damaged the jack on my boat trailer,. Wally tried to fix it. When he couldn't, he told us he might have a replacement part. He installed the new jack and only charged me his cost on the part. I couldn't imagine that happening anywhere else. Most motels are looking to stick you at every opportunity. A great place for fishermen, 5 miles from the state park marina.

What an amazing stay we had! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the owners were an absolute joy to meet and deal with. They went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you Wally and Chris! Next time we are up your way we will definitely be staying at Lakeview Motel & Cottage!!
