East Coast Trail, Cobbler’s Path, Torbay

Often icy in the spring and winter, so come prepared. With that said, the Klondyke at Torbay Point is incredible for both the hike and the views.

Amazing, so glad we took the time before flying out to get out here.

An excellent destination when visiting the area. Involves a short and easy hike (trail is well manicured/maintained and is only 0.5km to the point) to some spectacular views. The trail will bring you out to a point overlooking the ocean. Pick a nice sunny day and bring a picnic while you take in the great view of the ocean and surrounding mountains and coves. There isn't really a parking lot but the end of the road has room for people to park their cars on the side of the road. Once on the path you will come to a fork that leads up and right to stairs. To the left is the path to the torbay point. Carrying on up the steps will continue you on the Cobbler Brook trail (all of this is part of the East Coast Trail network of trails) for 2.5km and then to Red Cliff at 4.4km - as listed on the trail sign at the beginning of it (in the picture attached). Definitely check it out if you enjoy great ocean views and being outdoors!

Relaxing and beautiful view. The hike is easy, but make sure you don't go in the dark. If you go for sunsets, leave before it gets too dark or pack flashlights if you do.
