Spice X is one of the best places in town to get some south Asian food. I love their butter chicken especially. As an international student here in St. John's we always struggled to get some tasty biriani at a reasonable price. Spice X filled up that gap. Also, the owner is a really nice guy who is always trying to help the community. Highly recommended.

My first time at Spice X today and I have no idea why I never tried it before. They have such fresh and extremely well done curry their chicken is amazing, so moist and well seasoned! The rice is out of this world! Also the red cabbage salad is to die for! 10/10 would recommend! The staff was super friendly and just the smell of the building alone will make you want order everything on the menu!

Very well marketed and friendly owner. They have great deals and very affordable food. However, their food could have more taste to it especially because it is Indian food. Their food is bland in taste and could definitely use some improvement in that department. Perhaps it is the spices that are used? I give it a 3 star for their friendly attitude and I hope they take this review into consideration so that I can come back and give a better rating.

Now that's the best biriyani I had in recent times! Chicken n Beef Biriyani both are at its best. That flavor and aroma are matchless! Butter chicken is equally delicious and my kids loved it. Take this tagline "If you've it, you'll love it"!! Thumps up for Spicex..
