(November 5, 2018, 11:54 am)Attended the unveiling of "100 Portraits of the Great War". This is a beautiful bronze structure made up of faces of the decendants of WWI Royal NFLD Regiment. Kudos to Maegan MacDonald and his team for this splendid work of art. So proud of our son who is one of the faces.

(August 29, 2018, 1:15 pm)The city has done a fantastic job maintaining and upgrading this park. It's been worked on a lot of this summer and it shows. Great quiet park in the middle of the city. Fun place to eat lunch and relax during the week. Parking can be an issue but overall a great little gem close to downtown.

(June 15, 2018, 9:35 am)The park is great I have been coming here a long time. It is transforming into a nice place to take your family. The only this I would suggest is easier and better access to washrooms, and the lights in the softball field to be adjusted to playable angles. I've been player on the field there for 5 years, it is very hard compared to othet fields.
