Signal Hill is my favourite place in St. John's! I love to hike up there every time I visit. I usually go up the Battery Road way. There are 17 staircases altogether and the last two are tough, but it's so worth it when you get to the top. Breath-taking views of the city, harbour, and ocean. In August, be sure to stop and pick some wild blueberries along the way.

Beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean as well as the city. Great for photos or just a casual drive and enjoy the scenery. A walk inside the tower become an overflow of information about the history of the site and the first message sent overseas by Marconi.

Amazing views from here, you can see out to the ocean on one side and then the harbour and downtown on the other! Could get pretty windy so be sure to hold onto your hat. I walked here took about a half hour from downtown, quite a steep grade so some might be better off driving.

Who front love signal hill? It's a great place for tourists and locals alike. Lots of history as well as a nice view from town and the ocean both day or night. You can even see cape spear from there while is also a nice spot. The signal hill trail is fun too

Signal Hill is a historic site with breathtaking views and plenty of walking trails.
Do be sure to make a stop in the souvenir shop and take the narrow stairs all the way to the top observation area.
Parents be sure to keep your children close as there are steep cliffs and low safety walls.
This is well worth the drive, or hike, up the hill.
