  Always a mixed experience visiting the St. John's airport. The most recent was a pleasant experience, but this is not always the case. The recent renovations are nice and seems to allow for better flow of traffic through security.

  The St. John’s International Airport (YYT) was dramatically improved when the expansion area was opened in 2018. They have a new security area, new gates and new restaurants and stores. The new Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge is much larger than the old one, and this one has washrooms in the lounge.

  Neat and clean airport. Good service. Almost all passenger seats at the airport are equipped with power outlets to charge cellphones and other electronic devices. Restrooms are well maintained.

  St. John's International Airport (YYT) is not a big airport but it does its job and have its advantages. It's not crowded which makes going to the baggage claim, check-in, security check, grabbing a cab so much easier in a timely fashion. Everything is so close together. The airport is bright, tons of seats, clean floors, modern and inviting. Signs are easy to comprehend. If you have time, I recommend you dine at Yellowbelly Brewery inside the gate terminals. It's a perfect spot to get some food and last minute craft beer sampling before boarding your flight. Yellowbelly has great beer and its main HQ is at downtown St. John's. I enjoy St. John's International Airport.

  Small but nice airport. The expansion in my opinion is lovely
