One of my favorite places to visit. Great rooms, food, service and people. This place is truly a gem. I recommend it to everyone, whether they are looking for an adventure or just a relaxing few days by the sea. 100/100.

The hotel was recently remodeled with small but adequately sized rooms, each with a refrigerator. They serve a small continental breakfast of fruit and cereal which is nice as i don't believe there's anywhere in town that serves breakfast. The staff were extremely nice and my family and I enjoyed our two nights there. My kids complained about the "terrible wifi" and the restaurant was okay but there was not many healthy options available. When we went the restaurant seating area was closed because of covid so you had to either eat outside or in your room.

Like going back in time but in a good way. Stayed 1 night when it had been an extraordinarily warm day. Everyone had doors and windows open in the early evening so it was reminiscent of dorm life hearing other guests talking and laughing from down the hall. Lights out must have been 11pm when doors started shutting and became quiet. Accommodations were adequate, not plush, but you need to stay in St Johns if that is what you need.
