Milford House

The best cottage experience at a very affordable price in NS. I have been a regular for over 5 years now and have 0 plans to change.

Our 2nd time staying at the colonel cabin, it's a rustic cabin and has a nice, private property with a dock for swimming, canoeing or lounging, the lake channels into bigger lakes with hidden beaches that are fun to canoe.
The house itself does a great deal on maritime dinner and breakfast if you stay the night.. My family and I are making a couple nights stay at Milford a new summer tradition. It's very family friendly with a public beach on the lake and other facilities.

Frequented as a child. Made so many wonderful memories there. Have not been in about a decade but we have a trip planned for the summer. So excited to share it with my kids.

This was our 3rd trip to Milford House and although it rained the entire time we were there, we still had a fantastic stay!
We did have a bit of a hiccup with our meal plan due to communication, but the lovely front desk lady was so kind it didn't effect our stay at all :)
We also had to cabin hop one day and the staff made sure to prioritize our second cabin being cleaned and ready!
We were so thankful.
We can't wait to be back, and hope to continue spending time here with our family for many years to come ❤️
