Love the Dutchman Cheese Farm, alway worth the drive. The people are lovely, cheese is fabulous and we all enjoy walking around the farm. This is a must visit for our family every year.

What an amazingly beautiful place to visit, definitely if you have the time tour the grounds and feed the animals. Also it was cool to see all the different animals that provided for the cheese. Don't forget to grab some cheese and other stuff from the shop. Definitely the best gouda around Nova Scotia. Will definitely be taking the family back.

Definitely worth the detour. We came here with the kids on a Sunday afternoon on our way back to Halifax. The children loved it. There were lots of animals to see and paths to explore. The farm has a very authentic feel to it - it has lots of character and charm. Admission is reasonably priced. My guess is that you could spend two hours on the farm and cover most of the pathways and animal exhibits. Or you could take shortcuts and do it in less than an hour. Finish your visit by enjoying some homemade goods from the gift shop while taking in the view from their picnic area. This place is highly recommended. Of note, people with larger RV's might be challenged to park or turn around in here. Lots of parking for cars and trucks though.
