West Halifax Cheerleading

I love West Halifax Cheer! Great coaches, team mates, and staff. They really truly care about their athletes and understand that you may need time to pay payments. They offer allstar, prep, novice, AND a special needs team at West Halifax Cheerleading as well! They also have travel teams and go to actual good competitions in Canada and in America. West Hali even has a Senior Level 5 WORLDS team and have teams for all age levels and abilities! I highly recommend going to West Hali if you're looking for a cheer gym!

I have been with WHC for 6 years now. All 4 of my children are cheerleaders at the club. I have to say that you truly feel like your a part a family at this club. The fundraising opportunities are amazing and coaches and owners are very welcoming and amazing .:)

This club and sport has been a great experience for us. I had no idea how athletic and inclusive this sport was until I looked at the program after hosting a birthday party here (which by the way I only did because it was a different idea and didn't required much work on my end)

I learned that there are no pom poms in competitive cheer. It's a combination of gymnastics, dance, and teamwork.

We started with the learn to cheer program and summer camps and now my daughter is in her 3rd year with plans of more to come.

I can't compare to other clubs but here's what i like about WHC

They focus on team work and effort...owners are actively involved in the club and are just as approachable as coaches, staff, and other parents...everyone has a place here!

I have had the wonderful opportunity to support my niece for 10 years with WHC. We were welcomed and kept involved with everyone connected to the West Halifax Cheer family. I have watched this club grow and prosper under the guidance of great coaches, including athletes that started as young girls who are now young "ladies" that have moved on to the next chapter of their lives. I highly recommend the West Hali family!

Personable owners and dedicated Fundraising committee, who make fundraising an option, NOT a MUST DO task so families can choose timing and fundraisers that work best for them. Annual Travel Teams get to experience Cheer Life on the road at exciting venues and locations. Growing Pro-Shop right in the gym with friendly staff and new stock frequently! For us....there is no other club option!
