Had a wonderful workout here! Although it was a 20 mins drive from where I live, it was working the drive. Staff who guided me that evening seemed very professional and showed a lot of encouragement to push you in btwn rounds! She was wonderful! Loved the atmosphere so much I bought a membership to continue my workouts here! Just 30 mins out of your day- my body was loving it and felt the workout.... lol This is a great place to workout if you find you run out of time from a busy life!
🏴 Flag as inappropriateI started coming to Bedford HIT in Fall 2017, after moving to Bedford and needing a new gym. I loved the trial so much, and haven’t lost the love yet! I got pregnant in Spring 2018, and continued coming to HIT up until 41+ weeks (with modifications and tons of support and encouragement from the trainers and fellow members). I took a 6-week hiatus to heal, and was back at it as soon as Dr gave the go ahead! Now my little guy comes along to the party.
I love this gym! I’ve been a member at other gyms in the past (large chains and independent ones), and never before felt the same sense of belonging, support and inclusion! I also love that I don’t have to THINK. No reps to count, no machine to choose, no complicated equipment, no set times for the start of a class. It’s the same circuit every time, whenever you’re ready to begin, and always taking the same amount of time. The difference/progress comes from how hard you work, your focus, and the improvement in your form at each station.
My favourite parts of coming in for a workout are 1) gabbing afterward with everyone as we stretch (a half hour workout has VERY often turned into a 2-hour visit/catch-up! ????), 2) cheering for and fist-bumping each person as they finish their last station, 3) noticing when I’ve improved or figuring out a way to improve (aka having something “click” finally) and 4) when other members/trainers step up to entertain/carry/bounce my son while I finish the circuit. ????????????
This is the first time I’ve ever actually made good friends at a gym, and felt that sense of “these are my people.” It’s a lot like Cheers! ???? And I’m always happy I went, and very proud of the POWER I’ve gained! ????
Sweat!! Quick but not painless, this work out is invigorating and fast paced.
