Anchorage House & Cottages

Early season there was a limited number of us so wr basically hsd the main house yo ourselves. Great place to relax facilities are great for parties and events

For the price you would expect to have nicer cottages.

My family and I arrived on Christmas Eve, a large party of 17. Upon entering the house we were greeted with a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations which was such a great surprise and a lovely touch.

The majority of the party had travelled from the UK so were pretty tired and it was great to find the rooms warm, cosy and big enough with everything we needed without having to unpack straight away.

Each room was spotless, spacious and ideal for us. All rooms had everything we needed and more including the kitchen for our cooking needs. There was so much room we could all sit around the table and eat and play after dinner games so it was ideal for a great family gathering.

Over all, I would say that all my family had a wonderful stay in the house for Christmas and Kate was always at hand and help if we needed anything. Everyone appreciated the little extra touches.

I certainly would fully recommend this house and if the opportunity arises would love to get the chance to stay again either for a large family or a single room accommodation xx

The place was quaint, clean, comfortable and quite. We stayed in the big house. The cottages look nice from the outside. They have a pool too. It wasn't open at the end of Oct of course, but I'm sure it will be nice for a swim in the summer.

Absolutely fantastic!! Our family was very comfortable. It's really clean, beds are comfy and they have everything you need in the cottages to cook for your family and for it to feel like home. The owners and staff are really nice, helpful and accommodating. The pool is awesome and our kids LOVED it!! We can't wait to go back next summer. Hubbards is my new favorite place to vacation and Anchorage is the place to stay!!
