Oceanstone Inn & Cottages

Gorgeous location with cute cozy cottages.
All of the staff are exceptionally welcoming and genuinely seem to enjoy working at Oceanstone. The cottages and rooms are so cool and feel like you are starting at a family cottage that has been nicely upgraded while keeping the rustic charm. All of the food was superb and the location is simply amazing. I cannot wait to come back.

Our cottage was on the ocean and we loved it! It was spotless. Every member of the staff was cheerful and eager to help..

Great location on beautiful St. Margaret's Bay, Nova Scotia. Private cottages on the water with wood burning stoves, microwaves, etc., just what the doctor ordered. Great restaurant with delicious food and great views, "Rhubarb", only a few steps away. Two big thumbs up.

Our cabin was clean and cozy. The staff were friendly, and willing to help when we needed them. We did not have a large pot in our room, and the staff was more than happy to loan us one. The water was pretty hard (probably from a well) but bottled water was provided in the fridge. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We had our wedding at Oceanstone in August 2018. We had wanted a venue where all of our guests could be together and where there wasn't a lights out/no noise at a certain time of night. Oceanstone was that and more. It is such a beautiful waterfront location. The cabins and rooms are so perfectly furnished. Rhubarb is a very nice restaurant. Our wedding food was delicious. All of the staff were so nice and so easy to work with. The location close to the airport, Halifax, and of course Peggy's Cove was nice for our out of province wedding guests. We had bonfires at the cabins with wood stocked for us both nights. However absolutely the best thing about our experience was working with Roberta, Oceanstone's wedding coordinator. She is perfect. She answered our every question promptly and carefully. She was always so happy and welcoming and excited about our wedding. She took care of every detail on the day and as she'd promised, we truly felt like guests at our own wedding. No stress on the day at all. We have the best memories of our special day and have no regrets about choosing Oceanstone.
