When we were faced with issues that arose during the reno, Matt assessed the situations, suggested solutions and kept us within our budget by thinking outside the box. See the photo of our railing; which Matt built for 1/5th the price of the original quote. Matt is a talented carpenter who takes pride in his work which can be seen in his amazing attention to detail. Matt is an excellent communicator, a skill that sets him above any contractor we’ve ever hired. Todd’s Trades has our unequivocal recommendation.

If you're looking for a contractor that's able to provide advice, explain what problems need to be resolved and work with you on options, Matt is your guy. After coming by for a few routine fixes — sealing windows and replacing some siding — he noticed a significantly rotted section of wall and did a fantastic job of cleaning out the rot, replacing the entire wall and closing up the space, while also making sure other vulnerable parts of the house were as water-proofed as they could be. Matt's work speaks for itself, and he's a nice guy to work with.

When I reached out to Matt, he was responsive, communicated well and was extremely professional. On top of that he is knowable, capable and can see the bigger picture of a job.
He replaced an exterior door, Fixed a mold issue, removed an interior wall, fixed up the flooring, drywalled and put in molding and baseboards.
He was able to recommend a great company for a heat pump as well as electricians and plumbers.
Having been in trades many many years ago as a jointer, I am extremely happy with the work done and will be using Todd's Trades as my go to contractor.
