THE place to go in Windsor for great food and excellent craft beer. The rueben was fabulous as was the Hellene.

It was very beveragish! The seafood platter was excellent and had a different that usual mix. But my waitress Jeannette was so good I had to give it 5 stars!

The Spitfire has a really friendly atmosphere, and brings Windsor together in a lovely way. It's definitely a popular place for locals, and hosts many different crowds, including those that come for special events (like the open mic/music nights they host). I've heard that this is a great place for drinks. I've eaten there a few times (as a vegetarian) and the food has always been fine/good, it's met expectations, but has never blown me away. Overall, a very solid place in town.

Stayed at the Clockmakers Inn and received a 15% coupon for the Spitfire. Great ambiance with good selection of beers and knowledgeable staff. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the vegetarian Birmingham curry. Being English I was slightly concerned the curry may not live up to my expectations. I was not disappointed. The curry was different to a typical English curry but it was still very tasty with a good selection of spices. The staff were great.
