La Digue Suites

The building is a two level motel style stay. We had a room facing the harbour - was fairly picturesque. Room was small and cozy.

Beware: walls are paper thin. You can almost hear the people next door breathing never mind flushing toilets, showers, and children... we were lucky it wasn't "more". Luckily we stayed a night here with fairly decent neighbour's.

No shampoo or soap supplied. The bathroom vent fan was actually in the wall? I'd never seen this before but the thing was it hadn't been cleaned in months so it was a bit gross and also super loud.

Only interacted with staff over the phone - room was just unlocked with keys provided and left after check out. Fairly clean otherwise.

Good for a one night bed in cheticamp right on the main stretch.

I had to pay a lot for my date to travel this far. They dont have any back page adds here to find dates. So worth it tho. Got my freak on and then some. I hope we werent to loud. What a gem of a place and with a great view. Didnt eat the whole time cuz powder but i bet the food is spectacular. And what a beautiful area

Very clean room and cozy. Great proximity to the water. Room was a bit small but it did have a futon mattress to accommodate extra guess. It also had a coffee maker, microwave, fridge available if I can recalled. It also included Netflix as per programing and free parking on site.

We stayed at a Junior suite for a night. Although the room was small for 4 of us, but it had everything we needed. When we got close to Cheticamp, my younger son was feeling car-sick, so I called the owner and she was so kind and allowed us to check in early. The superintendent was also very nice, she showed us everything and gave us tips of where to go for dinner. The location was great, if you visit Cape Breton. Overall, we had a great stay in the suite!
