Saltbox Brewery

We went on a bike ride on the trail from Lunenburg to Mahone Bay and stopped here before returning to Lunenburg. They sometimes feature a local food truck but on the day we arrived it was not there, so we were limited to sampling their beer. I had the Irish Red and it was delicious. They also have a good selection of ciders and soft drinks for those not wanting a beer.

Great little spot with a patio. Dog friendly which makes for great company. :D

We enjoyed some drafts from the always variety filled menu as well as won a 13oz. pour for $5.00 as they have been doing draws all day to celebrate ! We donated it back so someone else could be the lucky winner. Go check them out for sure ! Merch is great too !

Server wasn’t the friendliest, and there is limited seating on the patio but it wasn’t a long wait for a table. Was hoping to try the Pigs Do Fly but they were sold out on tap. Overall the atmosphere was good and the live music was a pleasant surprise.

Great brewery. No disappointing drinks so far. I had a couple grunters open by themselves in the trunk and they were happy to refill them for me. Visited 3 times in the span of a weekend and will always make a stop whenever I'm in the area.
