Bear Cub's Diner

We were out for a drive and stumbled upon this place. It is in the heart of cottage country and offers a wide variety on the menu. The burgers were very tasty. We had a home made tart for dessert that was also very enjoyable.

super yummy food to match with the super yummy server. amazing grilled cheese. I would definitely upvote that beautiful cheesey creation on r/grilledcheese. the pulled pork sandwich was also very good.

10/10 would snack again.

One of my favourite local gems! Love the interior feel of the restaurant and walking in to an always friendly greeting is nice. Food is always good, service is always fast and friendly, and they are SO receptive of guest suggestions. Happy to have Gluten Free options - and service/cooks that understand gluten allergies. Been eating here at least once a week since opening day and have been happy and full every time!

Living in such a small community it’s nice to have a ‘regular spot’ outside of my own workplace to meet with friends and family.

I trust the staff here ( and at Bear Tracks ) to feed me without me having to worry that I might end up with an allergic reaction. Happy to have a place to feel comfortable, which is hard to find for someone with food allergies!

And LOVE that the wing special includes milkshakes for people who don’t drink alcohol!
