This was a beautiful little family campground! We tented for 4 days. It was not too far to all the places throughout the peninsula that we visited!

Rented a tent site and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was amazing and helpful. If you're staying on Bruce this is the place to go!. Also, the showers work just fine if you follow the instructions!

Without a doubt, the best campsite we've visited. Been going back every year for 12 years now. Love this place.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July 2021. We booked in February and this is the only place on the Bruce peninsula that didn’t require a 7 night stay. It’s a small RV park.

Let me start by saying the owners are friendly and allowed us to stay an extra couple of hours to go to the beach as the site was empty until the next day.

Our kids had a blast and made friends and had a great time.

Pros: Convenient location to Lion’s Head, Sauble Beach and Tobermory and all those areas have to offer . We did a day trip everyday.

The pool is clean and warm.

The ice cream is good, generous sizes and reasonably priced.

The playground structure is relatively new.

Full hook ups that were reliable.

5 minute walk to Red Bay Beach which is lovely, shallow and warm and dog friendly.

Cons: sites are small and difficult to park in. Very sandy. Once your trailer is in your vehicle has to be parked sideways in front. Anything larger than 27’ would find it very cramped.

Grass and weeds need to be cut. Weeds are knee high.

    Bathrooms are closed.

Trees and bushes need trimming - our coach was scratched coming through the entry. The entry scanner is buried in the cedar hedges. In order to park away from the fire pit the slide was up against the bushes.

The entry is a 90 degree angle and if you don’t approach it the right way you have to back up to make a wider turn.

The mini putt is closed and overgrown. The basketball court needs some love too. The volleyball court has no net.

The garbage bins were never emptied the whole time we were there and we never saw any maintenance work being done.

The location is amazing and we had a good time but this park is dated and worn. It needs some serious love. It has the potential to be a first rate RV park if it was given some time and energy. I hear it was nice in its heyday.

This park is not for Novice RV drivers - some had to back down the road in order to exit the park. One camper got his SUV stuck into the sand trying to park his trailer.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for in an RV Park.

It served our purpose and we made the best of it and met some really great campers. We were able to do the sightseeing we wanted to do and had an enjoyable few days exploring with our family.

Nice campground, helpful and friendly staff. We stayed on Wilderness 3 site and it was big enough for 3 tents, one of which was a 10 person with screened in porch. Nice field behind us for kids to be able to throw around a football or play badminton. There is a pump in the nearby shed that runs quite a bit.
