(August 5, 2018, 4:32 am)Heber downs is a great place to take some friends or family for an afternoon walk in the forest. Not too far from the big city, but still secluded enough that you can't hear the hustle of traffic or the smell of industry.

You do have to pay for parking, about $5 for a 1.5 to 2 hour hike - but that is about as much as most people would want to spend.
Definitely try this place out if you live in the Durham Region -
