Diesel Dungeon Studio

Real deal here. When I lived in Nashville, even the biggest producers are now working out of their own project studios they build inside their homes to be classy af. They work more closely on your project with you and it's got a relaxed and chill feel to it because you feel comfortable and right at home. THIS is how I feel at the good ol' Dungeon! Love ya brother!

I have had numerous songs mixed here and honestly the environment is amazing, the owner is extremely professional and at the end of it all I absolutely loved the mixes.

My absolute favourite place to record in Windsor/Essex for more than one reason!

First reason is the vibe. Vibe is very important for a musician because it translates into performance. I've heard too many records where the artist has no enthusiasm because their mind was somewhere else while recording. Between the coloured lights, neon sign, and other decor ... your mind will be on the performance and nothing else.

Another reason I feel comfortable is the location, upper middle class suburb. A studio in the sketchy part of town will never get a good performance from me because I'll spend every 5 minutes worrying if my car is being broken into, regardless of how fancy its gear is. Location matters!

And it's not like Diesel Dungeon's gear is shabby either. You will find Neve preamps, API, Pultec EQ, 1176, u87, a ribbon mic. There isn't a big fancy consoe, but that's where modern technology can fill the gap. Seriously, record something here, send it to a professional mastering engineer and it will sound like something produced in a fancy $10 million studio in Hollywood.
