I was stranded in Kingston while my car was repaired. This motel was next door to the dealership so was very convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I was treated kindly and the staff were masked which I appreciated. It was a pleasant stay.

Spotlessly clean room, very friendly and helpful operators, short drive to scenic downtown in one direction and shopping malls in the other. Room was spacious with two comfy queen beds, kitchen area with sink, fridge, and barhroom had a really nice strong shower in the tub. It is a basic older motel but the family owning and operating it keep it really clean. If you are looking for basic accommodation with friendly, helpful owner operators in a good location, this place is great. We would stay here again while in Kingston.

The room decor is basic, as you'd expect for a motel, but it has everything you need. The giant window makes you feel like you live in a store window if you open the curtains, which is a bit weird, but I really liked it. When I worked on my laptop on the dining table with the curtains open, it felt like I was sitting on the deck on a summer day, even though it was a cold snowy day in March. Our room was as far away from Princess St. as possible since they have a large parking lot, so it didn't feel as gross as being on your deck if you lived on a major arterial. Plus, this means we weren't too bothered by the traffic on Princess. The front desk guy seems like he has a good head on his shoulder; really liked that. I might even guess he has a masters or Ph.D. in something. The main bad thing I remember about the place is that the bathroom fan was loud. Not sure why the place was practically empty when the motel down the street was packed. (It was $5-10 more expensive or something.) It was being renovated, but the renovations occured at reasonable hours and didn't bother us, except for when we slept in. The location was particularly good for us since we were moving to Kingston and had some dealings with UHaul.

Stayed here about a week ago. This is definitely no fancy place but if you're looking for a clean, quiet environment and somewhere cheap to stay I definitely recommend this place. Also the staff was very nice and helpful.

After visiting over five motels without any luck we were amazed by the friendly and welcoming staff, which also recommended a restaurant nearby which turned out to be absolutely amazing. Extra towels weren't a problem at all. Price is a bargain compared to other motels, 4p/1night only cost us just over $100.
