However today I went in knowing what 2 shoes I wanted to look at and instantly was asked if I run in my Nike Free's and told 4 times that I should not be running in them.. When informing the staff working what 2 shoes I was interested in they hesitated and I acknowledged that the 2 shoes are different styles (however both are a neutral stability running shoe- 1 simply has more cushioning).

Was informed again how I should not be running in my Nikes.
I'm happy with my shoes- however being told what you should and should not use for running (I have been an avid runner for 19 years) is very insulting as there is no one 'proper' shoe for everyone. -
