This is an amazing place to go and learn Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. They have multiple excellent trainers in an ego free environment with like minded individuals who want to learn how to defend themselves. I've felt completely comfortable learning here and appreciate how much they teach that the most important person is your training partner. They emphasis always making sure that your partner is safe, that you aren't injuring them, and that they are learning the technique properly.

Excellent place to learn self defense and physical fitness! Staff and members alike are friendly and helpful and they all work together to create a welcoming, safe, cooperative environment for all. Muay Thai kickboxing is a fun full body workout, and jiu-jitsu is a unique martial art that allows a person to choose their level of response according to situations in real life, as opposed to the only option being to cause harm. Kids learn social strategies as well as non-violent techniques for threat management and controlling and subduing an aggressor when necessary.

Sudbury BJJ is a Gracie certified training center, and the instructors have trained under the Gracies themselves, as well as occasionally bringing the Gracies to our neck of the woods so we jiu-jitsu students can have the opportunity to train with them.

Not only have the Gracies developed an excellent street defense co-ed jiu-jitsu class, they have also developed an incredible and empowering women's self-defense class that teaches strategies and techniques that actually work in real life and don't rely on strength and fitness to employ, but rather leverage, technique, and timing.

Friendly atmosphere and good people - a great place to learn especially for beginners (like myself). Steve and the team are very welcoming and make learning Ju-jitsu truly something anyone can do (regardless of sex/age/prior ability) Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to give the Gracie way a go!
