Local honey - always the best way to get it right from the farm

The honey here is better than anything you will ever find in a grocery store. I will never buy from anywhere else. I'm big on trying to find local product and if you do cooking or baking and need a sweetener this is your spot.

The owner, Hugh Simpson, is very knowledgeable about beekeeping and the process of making honey. He is very friendly and clearly passionate about honey and bees. He offers short tours of the farm, not just his honey, but his goats and horses and his cutelittle dog, Tuffy! A great place to bring kids to see a bit of farm life.

They provide to a lot of local resteraunts as well, so maybe Hugh can offer some suggestions for good places to eat while you're in the area :P

If you are planning a day trip to Grey County, this is a must-visit!

I buy natural honey around the Toronto area but I have never tasted honey as aromatic and as full bodied as this. In my first visit I bought a pound but within a week I am coming back for a whole winters supply .well worth the travel
