Excellent quality ordered for the first time. Really enjoyed taste, tenderness and freshness of meat. Even comes in butcher paper rather then plastic. Will be a return customer. Thanks Jim.

Jim is a very friendly and knowledgeable man. His meat is 100% grass feed. Not just for the first yr. My wife has no large intestine and his ground meats are her main source of food. She made meatloaf and when she pulled it out of the tray there was no fat or water. Just basically clean. Truly impressive. Thank you Jim. We both appreciate the quaff meat you produce for our consumption. It’s always a pleasure doing business with you.

    Hi Jim,

We have really enjoyed the meat we got from you on Sunday after our farm visit.

We ate the rib steaks we cooked them in a sous vide and finished them off in a cast iron pan. We topped the steaks with a little butter and a bone broth reduction they where really good.

The next day we had the lamb leg roast that I did with a mustard and herb spread and then wrapped it in bacon. And of course finished with my bone broth reduction that one was very good as well.

Today I made burgers mixing a pound of the beef with a pound of the pork and seasoned them, they were fantastic and extremely flavourful. The consensus was that these were the best burgers I’ve ever made.

For all the meals my 7 year old daughter asked for seconds on every one. She really likes the taste of the meats. I found that the meat tasted really good and especially noticed that the beef actually tasted like beef.

We are extremely satisfied with all the products we have tried so far. I have bones in the crock pot for my bone broth it will be ready tomorrow but I must say the smell coming from the pot is incredible I can wait to try it.

You do a wonderful job raising your animals and we are happy to have found you. This will be the only place I get my meat from going forward.

I've visited many grass-fed farms across North America, predominately in the west coast United States. I believe I found a diamond in the haystack at Farmer Jim's.

I had the pleasure of visiting Jim's farm and I believe it to be the best farm of its kind --also to be the cleanest I've ever seen.

Jim has a passion for ethically raising animals which are fed biologically appropriate diets. In my opinion, all of his animals are raised to produce the healthiest kinds of meat possible. This is the only farm I know of in North America to offer such a large variety of meats raised in this manner.

The quality of his eggs and poultry are remarkable and undoubtedly the best I've ever had. I believe the cleanliness of the farm plays a crucial role. The flavor is so great, it requires no seasoning or even salt for that matter.

Embarrassingly, I had brought Farmer Jim a stick of 'premium' grass-fed butter from New Zealand to compare. To my astonishment his grass-fed butter had a much richer color, smell and flavor.

Jim's farm should serve as a model to all farmers who wish to return to the traditional practices of farming. My hope is his knowledge is at least preserved in a book but ideally I see him teaching thousands of farmers across North America how his business model is more successful, sustainable and profitable. Truly a win-win.

Farmer Jim has an exceptional selection of 100% grass-fed and pasture-raised meats. The quality and palatability of his meats truly redefine and expose the fallacy (dare I say) of agriculture grading, paving a grade of its own. Farmer Jim is truly a leader in the grass-fed movement and an incredible ally to people from the autoimmune community who are looking to reclaim their health with food.

This testimonial would be incomplete without a separate testimonial about Farmer Jim's open-farm policy. Our first visit to his farm was a nostalgic nod akin to a school-field trip. What began as a casual pick-up transpired into an intimate and revealing tour of the farm and their farming ethos. We were humbled by Jim’s passion, transparency and practice of animal welfare and ethics.

    With infinite gratitude,
    Ashley

Best decision we ever made to go and purchase meat and dairy products from Farmer Jim's. We have tried "Grass Fed" meats and dairy products as well as duck and chicken eggs from prominent local grocery stores in TO and there is no comparison in taste to the products we bought from Farmer Jim's. Farmer Jim's products are 100% far more superior. The difference is day and night as if they are two different products, and they must be since although the products sold in the local grocery stores claim to be "grass fed", the taste evidently proves otherwise. We decided to be modest in our first purchase so that we can try the taste first. We bought the 20 pound V3 package, butter, duck and chicken eggs. For the first time in 30 years we lived in Canada, we tasted same meat and dairy products that we eat in our grandparents farms where the animals were fed real grass in real reach and clean pastures and no other additives . I am sure anyone who has bought/tasted the "grass fed" products from the local grocery store and then tried Farmer Jim's products agrees with us that there is no comparison between two products .
Since we like to see where we are getting our food from, we decided to pick up the package from the farm and were pleasantly surprised to see the clean and so well maintained pastures where the animals roamed so free and happy at Farmer Jim's. I was envious of them :).
We were very pleased to see how dedicated and passionate Farmer Jim is. He takes much pride into his work and product and indeed he should, this kind of passion and professionalism is a rarity in today's world.
Farmer Jim's will be the only place where we will purchase meat and dairy products for our family from now on.
