My Lighthouse Cottages

My boyfriend and I spent thanksgiving 2019 in cottage #8, I could not have asked for a more beautiful place, the cottage was immaculate and well supplied with everything you would need. Couldn’t wait to get back so I booked again for August 21st to the 23rd in cottage #10 having family and Friends up to celebrate my birthday. Thank you Rui and Susan for an incredible stay the first time and welcoming us back for a second visit, I’m sure there will be more... I would totally recommend My Lighthouse Cottages.

Amazing little get away. Cottage has everything you could possibly need! Right on the grand river. Super modern and clean! Loved the back outdoor space.

I rented this property between July 22-24, 2020. It was a well-appointed unit with all amenities to my comfort. My stay was good. They could, however equip the unit with adequate towels for two. Luckily, I came prepared.
My experience took a negative turn when it came to refunding my security deposit. The money was to be returned 7 days after my stay ended and I am now at 12 days and several calls and texts later, I am still without my refund. The owner confirmed that there were no damages noted against our stay and have promised several times that our refund would be processed by the end of day - still nothing! My coaching feedback would on the administrative side. The after effect of the stay eroded the experience. Please work on a more timely arrangement as no one wants to feel as though they are being held captive by the pockets.

Clean room with good amenities. Nice little cement porch with great chairs, however gravel driveway and road were very close. Decent BBQ area however BBQs were low quality and not recently maintained. Pier and small park are just across the street.

The one I had visited was clean, newly renovation and updated. Nicely done and modern for a cottage I can't complain. It wasn't one of those musty, old furniture, broken down cottages you would come to expect! Two thumbs up. ????
