Mountain Customs

Friends of ours, who had a cottage in Northern Ontario, introduced us to Nick Elliott of Mountain Custom Designs. We had purchased a few acres nearby and were looking to build a cottage on that site. From our crude concept, Nick was able to fashion a marvellously striking structure that inhabits the surrounding landscape naturally. He was very professional, hard-working, knowledgeable , with attention to detail, an eye on the budget and environmental concerns, always furnishing a creative solution to any question or quandary. Nick is an extremely talented and personable designer and collaborator in any project. He has gifted us with our dream home in the country!

I hired Nick to construct an addition to my garage. The work performed by Nick and his team (Ben and Bill) was excellent, on-time and he honored an estimate that was more than a year old and very reasonable (I had received other quotes). They showed up when they said, answered all my questions and even gave me advice on a building project I was working on myself. Cleanup was done when the job was completed. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others (which I have already done).
