I highly recommend Mike for a thorough home inspection. I bought a home near Haliburton, with no experience with septic systems, or wells, or backup generators....etc. Mike came by and explained how all the systems work, and the maintenance required to keep them running. He also did a thorough inspection on the building itself...identifying previous problems the have been rectified, current concerns and how to maintain the building to prevent future problems. I was recommended to use Mike as an inspector for my home purchase. He was incredibly thorough, and after spending over 4 hours pouring over my house-to-be with my boyfriend, and explaining what he was doing and why at each step of the way, Mike gave us a binder that explained all of his findings. Mike had already earned a 5-star rating at this point. Just this evening I was provided with a document that asked me a billion questions about my oil tank (of the house that I won't own officially until tomorrow morning!). Fearing the worst, I asked my realtor and she suggested calling Mike up again. So I did. At 10PM, fully expecting to get an answering machine. Imagine my surprise (and embarrassment) when Mike and his wonderful wife Lise answered the phone. In a few short minutes, they pulled up the files that they had on my oil tank and they were able to ease my mind by answering all the questions, and giving my extra information that I hadnt asked for. They even sent me a picture of the sticker on the side of the tank as further information to provide to the insurance company!!! I would (and will) recommend Mike Rahme a thousand times over to anyone in and around the Haliburton area. Thank you for all of your help!!!!
