Kate’s Burger Counter

The burgers were amazing! All fresh hand made burgers and the owners were super friendly. Definitely would recommend to anyone headed to the area!

Honesty the best burger, fries and onion rings I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favour and grab a burger, walk across the street, sit on the dock and enjoy the food with a million dollar view. You won’t regret making the trek out there.

Best place to stop for pick up on the way home or way to the cottage.

We strive to create that unique cottage experience, being able to boat up for a meal or Kawartha Dairy ice cream. We are open all year and have had ATVs coming by in the fall and hopefully we can be an off trail destination for the snowmobiles. We are takeout only but have seating on our patio and at the dock. Our takeout containers are biodegradable or recyclable.

The food at Kate's is terrific. We have been there a number of times and have not been disappointed yet.

The Mac and Cheese last Monday was really good and full of flavour. The Monday before that we had a burger and a bowl of chili. The chili was so good...if they ever offer a chili/cheese dog, then I am in!

During the summer we had dinner for 8 of us and everyone was very happy with their food.

All this and a friendly staff...why wouldn't you stop in for a meal!
