I can’t say enough about the care. RPN’s, PSW’s, kitchen, house keeping, management. Stevenson House you rock. My mother got the best care in her short time that she was there. Not only was she cared for but so were we as a family. I never felt like I was inconveniencing them. They worked with a smile and truly care for the clients that live there. ❤️Nellie Joyce family

Quiet,clean,secure,friendly

My husband Gordon Goodchild was in LTC in Breckon House for a little over 3 years. The love, care and kindness from all staff especially the nurses was second to none. My husband loved his home, his room and the staff, he never had a complaint in all the years he was there. In my heart of hearts I believe that this facility is the best in Ontario. The staff know all residents and speak to them by name; there are programs to meet all resident's needs; the doctors are always on call; the building is so clean and the maintenance staff are fantastic; the kitchen staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. My husband passed in Palliative Care and the attentiveness of all staff was remarkable. Not only was my spouse kept free of pain and always comfortable, but I was looked after just as well. There will never be enough kind words for me to say "Thank you" to the most loving, compassionate, friendly and caring staff that anybody could ever meet. From the Executive Director right down the line, you could never ask for better staff. I will continue to volunteer and give back as that is the only way I can truly say "Thank you"

My father has been at this facility for 7 months. I am so pleased with the staff, activities, and the cleanliness of this place. The staff are very friendly and very dedicated to the residents and have made living there as comfortable as they can for my father. They have set up an area in the sun room for my father to paint and get him involved in as many activities as they can. I am so grateful that my father was able to get into Burloak. Burloak was my first choice and I have absolutely no regrets at all. I give this place a 5 star rating.
