Knollwood Golf Club - New Course

Amazing golf course and Amazing staff. The greens are absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The grass in general is well taken care of. I will definitely be returning along with my group and friends and family. I will be recommending this course to everyone.

Great course. Marshall when we walked in was a bit crusty but at the turn and at the end, he seemed to mellow out. Didn’t see the cart girl the entire time so had to grab drinks at the turn in the clubhouse. Restaurant wasn’t open so dunno if that was cuz of COVID or just didn’t feel the need to operate. 🤷

The best thing about this course are the greens - you have to see them to believe them. They might want to invest in some shade grass turf for some of the tees and could dig some bunkers to add more variation. You can afford to spray here since lots of fairway to work with for many holes but some crazy tight tee offs on some tees if you play blue. Gonna try the old course next and see what its like.

Excellent condition of the course. The absence of bunkers is made up awesomely by the undulating fairways. Well cut fast greens. We had a bit of rain during the round, but that did not really have an effect on the speeds.

The course itself is your average area golf course. Their senior's discounts for golf and carts is reason enough to get me to keep coming back. It's actually in pretty good shape though. I like the layout of it and pace of play is pretty good also. If they would spend a little more time and effort on the greens (cutting and rolling) as they are bumpy and slow that would upgrade the rating. The best improvement would be to fix up the tee blocks by grading and seeding as some are pretty uneven and almost barren of grass. Nice flat, plush tee blocks and quicker greens could make this a must play golf course for the Hamilton area.
