William Dam Seeds

As a newer home gardener, I was originally intimidated by the number of seed suppliers on the market. I’m so glad that I came upon William Dam Seeds. I am coming to the end of my second season using their seeds and I’ve been very happy. Most of their stock seems to be have very high disease and pest resistance, which is so important for new gardeners who, like myself, might not be able to identify disease or pest damage let alone how to treat it. Two varieties I want to highlight are the Jasper Hybrid Organic cherry tomatoes and their bee feed mix. I estimate that I’ve harvested about ten pounds of cherry tomatoes off of try single cherry tomato plant (so far!) and the plant is still producing and looks very healthy in mid-September. Their bee mix was a beautiful collection of wildflowers that provided colour all season long. It seems that the varieties selected for the bee mix are ones that were timed to bloom in succession throughout the season; every month or so a new variety would pop up. Overall I’m very happy with WDS’s seed stock.

I started vegetable gardening 5-6 years ago and I was told William Dam Seeds was the place to go. I'm a small business owner myself so I try to support local, family owned businesses whenever possible. I've consistently received high quality products and friendly customer service when visiting the store. This year was the first time ordering for pick-up due to Covid and there were some delays. I still received everything in time and will continue to support this great family.
