Furniture consignment shop. A decent collection of pieces at reasonable prices, though not a wide variety of styles. Worth a look if you're in the market for furniture.

Similar stuff to what you'd find in thrift stores but for higher (consignment) prices. Worth a look if you're already on Ottawa st but I wouldn't make another special trip.

Last month a group of ladies from my condo in Oakville organized a fund raiser for vulnerable children in Asia and we canvassed local businesses to donate items for our silent auction. The Millionaire's daughter was very generous and demonstrated their support of our community by donating a lovely gift basket. In addition to the helpful staff and amazing items at the store, this store is great to have in Oakville and you will always find a delightful piece of furniture or accessory to suit any decor.

Some nice pieces here! Some older, some newer. All in very good condition with a wide range of styles. I didn't find what I needed but I will go back when I need something. Prices were pretty reasonable too. I really liked the pricing in that they post three dates about a month apart and each piece drops in price of it takes longer to sell. Kind of fun to play the mental game of whether to risk waiting it out for the next price drop or nab the piece. It appeared they would consider offers below the current price listed in attempt to move a piece.

Came to The Millionaire's Daughter this afternoon after looking at another furniture consignment store and wasn't really impressed with what was there. At The Millionaire's Daughter, I saw quite a number of items I really liked but one in particular stood out and picked it up at a great deal, I think. If I waited another month it would probably be gone! Going back to check on another item I should snag before someone else does???? The employee working was very friendly and knowledgeable, I liked the vibe throughout her store. Beautiful items and I'm so happy with mine!
